Wind turbine being built in the Netherlands

The windmill named "Goliath" stands in the midst of much larger wind turbines in Eemshaven in the province of Groningen in the Netherlands.
The mill dates from 1897 and is the northernmost mill on the Dutch mainland. The Goliath no longer has a function (the waterway now runs around the mill), but it once drained the Eemspolder. The mill was fitted with a new sail cross in 2006 and is once again capable of grinding. The country is stepping up offshore and onshore renewable energy production to achieve the climate targets.
