About Justin Jin

Location: Brussels, Moscow, Shanghai, Hong Kong

Justin Jin (born 1974) established his career as a prize-winning photojournalist working in Europe, China and Russian-speaking countries with the world's prestigious magazines and museums. During more than a decade traveling on assignment, Jin became a thoughtful storyteller, using the power of reportage and portrait to show the relation between his subjects and their environment. While his scope is wide, his photographs are intimate, real and powerful. He is the recipient of the Magnum Foundation Grant, winner of the Canon Prize and a participant at the World Press Photo Masterclass.

A dedicated professional with a clear grasp of client needs and a capacity to perform under pressure in any condition, Jin is in worldwide demand for editorial, art and corporate photography work. His editorial partners include GEO, Stern, Forbes, Time, Newsweek, the Sunday Times Magazine and Vanity Fair, while his corporate clients include Siemens, BASF, Audi, Credit Suisse and Ernst & Young. Jin speaks Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese), Russian and English, some Dutch and French.

Jin read Philosophy and Political Sciences at Cambridge University.
